Explore the 6 workshops designed to inspire children in engineering and sustainability. They've been developed by science outreach experts from UWE Bristol's Inspire Sustainability team and each lesson is:
·
curriculum-linked
·
hands-on
·
fun!
·
career-linked
·
STEM stereotype busting
·
encourage problem-solving
Most of the sessions have lesson plans for KS2 and KS3 children, although these can be adapted for slightly younger or older groups.
Some of the sessions are more suited for older children - KS4/5 - see the Youth Climate Communications Toolkit and the Susutainability Solutions Summit.
Most workshops have lesson plans to download so you can run the workshops yourself. However, We Make our Future is a planetarium show you'd need to book with our partners Explorer Dome, and The West in Minecraft is best run by the Inspire Sustainability team with our class set of tablets and unique Bristol-based Minecraft worlds.

And in fact, the Inspire Sustainbility team are happy to come into your school to deliver, or welcome you to UWE's School of Engineering, to deliver any of the workshops. If we deliver, there's the added bonus that we can bring real-life STEM ambassadors and students along to inspire your class or group!
Click and read about the different workshops, and please do get in touch if you have any queries or questions - email: engineeringourfuture@uwe.ac.uk
